The EXPEC 3500S Portable GC-MS is a portable gas chromatography–mass spectrometry system designed for on-site detection of organic pollutants.
It enables rapid qualitative and quantitative analysis of volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds (VOCs and SVOCs) either when mounted on a mobile platform or carried by hand or over the shoulder to remote locations inaccessible by vehicle.
The instrument integrates membrane injection sampling, gas chromatographic separation, and ion trap mass spectrometry, providing fast and reliable results without complex sample preparation.
After preliminary conditioning, the sample passes through a chromatographic or membrane injection system into the mass spectrometry module, where components are identified and quantified.
